Livingston Food Resource Center
About this Organization
The Livingston Food Resource Center (LFRC) combats food insecurity and promotes wellness across Park County by prioritizing nutrition security-ensuring our neighbors have consistent access to fresh, nutrient-dense food essential for long-term health.
We operate ten food access programs, including our Mobile Pantry, School Pantries, in-person shopping, Pantry Supper Club (which traveled 4,000+ miles to reach our most isolated neighbors), the Farmers Market Program, Summer Lunch, and the Kamut for Community Bread Program-and more. But our work goes beyond food: we also provide mental health counseling, public benefits navigation, and other holistic services to meet people where they are.
In 2024, LFRC served 2,260 unique individuals-17% of Livingston and 12% of the county. Of those, 35% had never used our services before. When asked, clients reported housing costs and fixed incomes as the primary reasons for seeking support-needs that continue to grow.
By partnering with local producers, investing in sustainable solutions, and addressing the root causes of hunger, LFRC is building a stronger, more resilient community-one meal, one neighbor
