About GIVE A HOOT

GIVE A HOOT is Park County's annual month-long community giving challenge that connects community members with causes they care about most. The goal of GIVE A HOOT is to inspire people to come together, show pride in their community, and contribute to supporting local nonprofit organizations working in Park County.

Funds raised by participating nonprofits during GIVE A HOOT will be eligible to receive a partial match from the Park County Community Foundation.

With a single gift during GIVE A HOOT, donors contribute to as many nonprofits as they like, knowing these organizations will receive 100% of all gifts designated for them, as well as the partial matching grants from the Community Foundation. Funding from our event sponsors is used to cover the costs of producing GIVE A HOOT, including administration, event management, and marketing. This ensures participation is free for nonprofits, and 100% of the donations go to the donor designated nonprofits.

When you GIVE A HOOT you support a network of organizations committed to our community.

GIVE A HOOT is presented by the Park County Community Foundation and made possible due to the generosity of the Dennis & Phyllis Washington Foundation, Montana Rail Link, and Willow Creek Ranch.
