Project49 / Studio49/ Teslow
About this Organization
Project49 improves the well-being of Park County residents by operating a community-centered maker space, art studio and event venue called Studio49. Here, people of all ages gather in a supportive environment to learn, create, and recreate. We provide access and programming to all ages in an effort to build connections and support our youth. We are also working to renovate the historic Teslow grain elevator to expand our activities and create an exciting venue for community gathering.
Current programs include:
Open Studio Nights- All ages are welcomed into our space to create projects, learn new skills and interact with their neighbors. Local businesses provide free meals and partner organizations are invited to deliver information about other services and opportunities.
Homeschool Enrichment- Allows kids outside of the public school system to access hands-on learning and connect with others.
Hands-On Skills Workshops and Course Series- we currently offer popular sewing courses and will expand into woodworking, 3-D printing, sculpture, drawing and more.
Community Events- we host meetings, film screenings, classes and other values-aligned activities.
