NYEF holds a special place in my heart. As the Director, I proudly affirm our mission to uplift Gardiner School, our dedicated teachers, and our incredible students. Robert’s growth and development truly matter to me. Through NYEF, we are making meaningful strides in supporting our students' mental health and fostering their development. We are ensuring that our rural schools are staffed with caring teachers by providing affordable housing. This year, we will be adding three new two-bedroom units, including one dedicated to a mental health therapist. While significant progress has been made at Gardiner School and NYEF, our students still report anxiety levels above state and county averages. Our mission is to work with the community to build sustainable support and enhance innovative educational opportunities for students, teachers, and community members in partnership with Gardiner Public Schools. Our core programming includes Connect! Grants classroom grants program, mental health initiatives, and providing affordable housing for teachers.
