Horses feet are extremely important to their health and well-being, as well as the shoes they wear to protect their feet! Their hoofs are constantly growing, just like our fingernails and therefore need trimmed about every 6-8 weeks.
This requires that a farrier (horseshoer) come to the farm taking off the old and putting on each horse’s new shoes. This service costs money and we are asking for donations to help defray some of the cost of new shoes for the horses at Sunnyside Farms.
