CASA Of Park And Sweet Grass Counties

CASA/GAL of Park and Sweet Grass Counties advocates for all abused and neglected children within the Sixth Judicial Court System.

 CASA is an organization that supports child abuse and neglect victims. We recruit and train community volunteers to become advocates that fight for children in the welfare system, aiming at safe and permanent homes for all children. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA'S) are community volunteers to speak up for abused and neglected children in court. Volunteers review records, gather information, and interview parents, teachers, foster parents, therapists, and the child. From this information, they present recommendations to the District Judge as to what is best for the child. With this information, judges are able to make more informed decisions and children have the best chance at safe, permanent placement.
