Help Protect the Wild Heart of Greater Yellowstone

The northern gateways to Yellowstone are powered by the very resources that make this place extraordinary: abundant wildlife, healthy landscapes, and unforgettable outdoor experiences. Tourism generates more than $1.3 billion annually in Park County, and wildlife watching is the region’s most popular activity.

Yet while local businesses are optimistic about their future, only 21% are optimistic about the future of the natural resources that sustain our economy. More than three-quarters of business leaders say they feel a responsibility to give back to these natural resources—but until now, there has been no simple, effective way to do it.

Wild Livelihoods is changing that.

Your support will help build a voluntary, conservation funding program that allows businesses and visitors to directly invest in local projects that protect wildlife, land, water, and responsible recreation. By creating a practical and transparent mechanism for giving back, we can turn goodwill into lasting action. These initial funds will go to support:

  • setting up the money collection mechanisms (rounding up to the nearest $ at retail, or % add-ons for tours and stays)
  • people power + time to build and launch the program.

This is your opportunity to contribute to our community-driven launch for this future forward program. Together, we can ensure that the landscapes, wildlife, and rural communities that define Greater Yellowstone remain healthy, resilient, and thriving for generations to come.

Donate today to help us create a durable funding mechanism for local conservation funding and keep Yellowstone’s wild legacy thriving.
