Who We Are

Project49 operates Studio49, a welcoming community space in downtown Livingston where people of all ages can connect, learn, and create. Through hands-on arts, trades, technology, and community programming, we help build the relationships, skills, and sense of belonging that strengthen Park County.

What We Do

Each week, Studio49 brings together youth, families, artists, makers, entrepreneurs, and neighbors for free and low-cost opportunities to learn new skills, explore creativity, share meals, and participate in community life. Our programs include Open Studio Nights, youth enrichment activities, skills workshops, creative courses, and community events that make meaningful connections accessible to everyone.

Who We Serve

Studio49 is for everyone. This year, we welcomed hundreds of community members ranging in age from under one year old to over 90, creating a truly intergenerational space where families, youth, adults, and seniors learn and create side by side.

Preserving Our Past, Building Our Future

We are also restoring the historic Teslow Grain Elevator as a future hub for creativity, learning, tourism, and community gathering.

This year we are proud to have been selected, out of hundreds of applicants, to participate in two very exciting opportunities that will move the Teslow dream forward:

• The Activate Rural Learning Lab is a 2-year curated cohort experience for teams of entrepreneurs, artists, and activators to cultivate creative third places in rural communities.
• Fieldwork is a new national program for rural and Tribal communities that provides customized design, planning, and project development support.Through workshops, coaching, and technical design support, Fieldwork helps communities develop real projects—from early vision to clear plans for design, funding, and implementation.

Community Support

We are proud to be supported by amazing organizations such as AMB West, the Park County Community Foundation, Highcamp Compliance, the Department of Public Transformation and Community Closet.  

But there is something special about the individual community donors who show up for us.  We couldn't do this without our friends, neighbors and community members stepping up to the plate.  

Your support helps us keep our doors open, expand programming, provide supplies and scholarships, and ensure that people of all ages have a place where they feel welcome, valued, and inspired to create.
