Friends of Park County Search and Rescue is a nonprofit organization that exists to support the hardworking volunteers of Park County Search and Rescue with funding for training, equipment, and team gear.

Park County Search and Rescue is a group of dedicated volunteers, organized by the Park County Sheriff’s Office, who train for and respond to a variety of incidents within our county, from searching for missing persons, responding to wilderness and water rescue emergencies, and assisting in the rescue of injured persons.

Park County covers 2,813 square miles and is home to approximately 18,000 people. Our county also supports the thousands of Yellowstone National Park-bound visitors that utilize the park's north entrance throughout the year, making this a dynamic region where highly-trained, well-organized, well-outfitted emergency responders play a necessary role in keeping people safe and responding to incidents when things go wrong.

This team provides an invaluable service to Park County residents and visitors and its hardworking members deserve our support. If you or anyone you love recreates in Park County—whether it's fishing, hunting, floating the Yellowstone, day hiking to Pine Creek Lake, skiing outside Cooke City, climbing Granite Peak, or any of the other incredible pursuits that make life in Park County so worthwhile—we hope you'll consider joining us to support the folks who are ready to drop everything to come help you when things go wrong.

Your donation goes straight to providing the team gear, equipment, and training that keeps PCSAR team members safe, effective, and prepared to respond to calls across our county.

Remember: When you help us, you’re helping them help you!
